So you have this hot water geyser in your house that you have never used since you just can't afford to pay for its unapologetically high electric bills. Given the chance you would probably sell the tank as scrap metal. But before you think of doing that, I have a nice idea for you. Why not use solar to heat the water inside your geyser? Yes, free solar. We simply fit two panels on your roof and a pump that circulates water to the panels and back to your hot water tank. Problem solved :) and now you can also forget about your hot shower head and its huge bills as well.

So we are yet again on a mission to turn a client to green energy. This time round it's a school. So the 4kw solar PV system will be used to power a computer lab with 30 computers, an administration block and a borehole pump. The system is expandable to a 12kw system to accommodate further expansion of the school. Furthermore, the cooks will enjoy doing dishes with hot water from our 300litre solar water heater. Time: 12.00noon, battery capacity: FULL, household loads: 2 deep freezers, 2 fridges, microwave, iron box, lights, entertainment centre etc.

So we have been testing a 4kw 3 phase pump on the same system; with a head of 220metres, and it works perfectly well. Current load with the addition of the pump is 38% meaning more loads can be added to the system(upto 12kw). Going green has been made so smart and easy. Literally free energy with so much savings on the bills that would have been paid to run all these items. Its high time we went green.

Just completed a 7kw 3phase solar powered hybrid system. Iron boxes, tv sets, computers, laptops, deep freezers, fridges, all powered by solar. They say good things in life are free. Do we still need to pay kenya power high monthly bills? That's a question for another day. #greenenergy #freeenergy

Moving on to Central province, Kiambu. 7kw solar PV system loading. That's approximately 24, 320w panels that can help the client use solar to power a 6 bedroom house, a hotel, servants quarter, a 3phase 180m borehole pump, and a couple of 100w security lights. We are done with the first phase, laying the panels with good roof clearance to avoid build up of dirt underneath the panels. Cant wait to have the robust system running
